Mummified Ice Age Animals Found

A complete mummified wolf pup was discovered in Dawson City, Yukon, and is a rare, exciting find for scientists. Carbon dating places the animal at more than 50,000 years of age. The fact that this pup still has preserved fur is just incredible. A partial caribou was also discovered in a similar manner at another site, missing only its back end. The pup may be the first of its kind ever found.

New Teas in 2021

As a tea aficionado, I'm always down for trying new teas. Right now I'm loving Stash's Christmas in Paris and Celestial Seasoning's White Chocolate Peppermint and Sugar Cookie flavors for the holidays, but I love SO many varieties and types of tea. After finding Adaigo Tea online I figured I'd never have to search for new flavors to try again, but it's so much fun to stumble on new flavors that I just can't help it!

Best Women-Led Casts

With the upcoming Gunpowder Milkshake on my mind (when? how can I see it? I need info!), I'm thinking about more women-led casts and movies that I've loved--and that I'd love to see. One of my new favorites, for example, is Fast Color, which is an incredible movie about women with supernatural abilities--but they're not superheroes. Not in the Hollywood senste, anyway. It's absolutely phenomenal.

NYE Takeout In Seattle

When it comes to eating in 2020, it's often between where to support with a takeout or delivery order or to eat your own cooking. My family has been trying to support small businesses on holidays and special occasions, so we'd love to hear about where you're getting food for New Year's.

The Best Deadhead Hoodies

It's the time of year to hoodie up! Weather is getting colder, with many areas seeing snow. Tonight a cold front is moving in where I live and I know I'm going to wear my favorite hoodie tomorrow. I'd love some new hoodies to change out, though, and I was thinking we could share some favorites for that reason.

Plants As Gifts

In my family, plants get passed around more than anything else. Between my parents, sisters and aunts, we tend to pass around a LOT of stuff, from household items to food we don't like that we bought, but plants are passed house to house at least on a monthly basis. My baby sister and my aunt in particular have huge windows and what appear to be greenhouses in their homes!
