Box of Lies

Right now we are trying to come up with a bunch of fun games via zoom to play, and one that I'm planning on hosting is Box of Lies. If you haven't seen this game on Jimmy Fallon's show, it's a game where you get a box with something weird in it (say, Jeff Goldblum suspended in Jello) and you have to describe it to the other person.

You can lie or tell the truth, but they have to guess which one you're choosing. It's hilarious and I think creating the weird thing will be so much fun alone!

What fun zoom games are you playing lately? Share them in the chat!

July Garden Tips

In July, it's likely that your garden is in full bloom, but there's still much to do! From cutting off dead blossoms to your daily harvesting of things that have grown, assessing water sources and rotting, there is a lot to do this time of year!

Naming Frog Photos

Have you heard about people adding their names to photos of frogs on Instagram? It's the latest weird trend on the social networking app, along with doing the same thing to photos of cats and Harry Styles.

It seems as if once a frog or cat has been named after you, you aren't allowed to give it that name again. That's YOUR insta animal, no ifs, ands or buts! It's just another goofy trend among many when it comes to bored Gen Z kids.

Sci-Fi July Mid-Month Check-In

July is over halfway over and I've only managed to read three sci-fi books! Two were by the same author, so you can bet I haven't made a BINGO yet. Then again, I rarely do since I read what I'm interested in more than what's needed for a BINGO! It's been difficult at times this year to concentrate while reading, while other weeks it's my one true escape from what's happening right now. How about you? Have your reading habits changed during the pandemic?
