Food-Ordering Apps

So many restaurants are pushing their food-ordering apps lately, and I wanted to see who is actually using these glitchy apps on the regular. Each time I try to use a food app--whether it's for a coffee shop, fast food, a restaurant, whatever--it usually glitches or says that it's currently not available, etc. Who has space for apps like these or time to make an order only for it to be denied? I've even ordered, been charged and had my money reimbursed days later after being told the order was denied!

Apple Pumpkin Chai

This year I tried my first apple pumpkin chai, and I have to admit that I hated it. My favorite little indie coffee place made it and it looked and smelled delightful. Each sip was good... until the aftertaste kicked in. Each sip ended with the taste of vomit! Yikes.

As much as I love both apple and chai, I knew there had to be a way to combine them without this terrible effect! I've met people who say they hate chai and if this were my first time trying it, I think I would, too.

Growing Carrots

As a young hobby farmer, I had no idea how sensitive some plants can be. It's a running joke how some plants will grow in the crack of a sidewalk yet refuse to grow in someone's home! Carrots are a sensitive bunch. They don't like a lot of heat and won't grow well in the summer if it's too hot, but they do well in the cool spring and even late summer or early fall, depending on where you live.

PA School Book Ban

Too many parents, and subsequently too many schools, are up in arms over teaching their children about anything that isn't white-driven and focused. Their outrage is incredibly misinformed, given the fact that the majority of the public school curriculum are white-driven. Schools where I live are under siege by angry parents during school board meetings, angry about the prospect of critical race theory being taught.

DIY Loaded Tea Ideas

Lots of people love "loaded teas," or teas filled with vitamins, supplements and other ingredients. These teas are typically made with green tea and mix-ins from companies like Herbalife, and little shops that sell them are popping up everywhere. The thing is, many people don't like their ingredients, or think they have too much caffeine, or don't want to spend that much money on a tea. So how do you make them from home for $1 per serving?

End The Bounties On Pregnant People

SCOTUS must think playing cowboys and vigilantes is fun and appropriate for 2021 because that's what's happening right now as doctors admit to saving lives by performing abortions and disgusting people rush to file lawsuits per the legislation. The people suing the doctor are both former lawyers from Illinois and Arkansas. One even says he doesn't disagree with abortion but he wants the courts to test the legality of the case to find out what happens. 

Nuclear Fusion 152 - Researchers At Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory Use Computer Simulations To Stabilize Plasmas

     In 2017, researchers moved one step closer to the creation of stable nuclear fission energy generation. They discovered a way to stabilize plasma in fusion reactors which prevents temperatures and densities from oscillating and quenching the fusion reaction. If researchers can control this type of power source, nuclear fusion could be the answer to providing inexhaustible green energy.

     In 2016, Australia began negotiating a contract with France’s Naval Group for the construction of twelve conventionally power Barracuda submarines. The French government is the majority shareholder for the Naval Group. There were extensive disagreements on the budget for the project which resulted in the contract being formally signing being delayed until 2019.
